Meet Marije
With a background in high-end interior architecture, hospitality concepts, custom-made design and more than twenty years of off-the-beaten-path travel, I bring a rare combination of aesthetic intelligence, real-world business experience and cinematic storytelling into everything I create.
Over the years, I have founded and developed multiple creative businesses across design, hospitality, modular living, branding and storytelling — always from the ground up, often entirely independently.

Hotel Collab
A floating jungle retreat on the River Kwai in Thailand. I documented the immersive atmosphere of slow living, candlelit evenings and misty mornings — including a meaningful encounter with members of the Mon tribe, one of the oldest ethnic communities in the region.

For the Dutch organic food brand Koopman, I built a “Day in the Life” concept around outdoor cooking, slow living and freedom. Filmed from my Toyota Land Cruiser overland setup — making fresh pancakes in Dutch surrounding in a childfull way.
